B.O.G. Squad Privacy Policy
B.O.G. Squad and B.O.G. Squad for Investors (together, the "app") are made by RenewEQ, LLC ("we", "us"). This page explains what the app collects, how and why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to delete it. Last updated October 7, 2026. See also the Terms of Service, the BOG Agreement and the Refund Policy.
What we collect
- Your mobile number, full name, company name and email address. You type these in. We text a one time sign in code to your mobile number. Your name and company show investors and BOGs who they are working with.
- BOGs: the area you cover and your usual prices, and the Zelle, Cash App, Venmo or Apple Cash you choose to be paid with. Only you and the B.O.G. Squad team see how you are paid, and we use it only to send you money.
- BOGs: a profile photo and a photo of your driver's license. Both are taken with the in app camera before you can take jobs. Your profile photo is shown to investors with your name. Your license photo is seen only by a person at RenewEQ, who checks it is real, current, in your name and matches your photo. It is stored encrypted and deleted as soon as it has been checked; we keep only the fact that it was verified, by whom and when.
- Investors: property addresses, access details and the job details you type in.
- Photos, videos and voice recordings taken in the app at a property, plus checklist answers and notes. They come only from the in app camera and microphone.
- Documents on a job. Papers an investor uploads or scans for the BOG to deliver, print, sign or read, and documents and signatures a BOG scans or uploads, such as a signed copy or a receipt. Both sides of that job can see, download and print them. A BOG sees an investor's documents only after taking the job.
- Messages you send about a job, and a record that a video or phone call happened (who, which job, when, how long). The sound and picture of calls are never recorded or kept.
- BOGs only: your precise location. Location is required to be a BOG, because showing investors you were at the property is the service. After the "Allow your location" screen and your phone's own prompt, the BOG app reads your phone's location only while you use the app: once when you sign up (to suggest the area you cover, kept with your application), and when you check in, check out and take a proof photo or video. It never tracks you in the background or between jobs. We keep the job readings with the job.
- Ratings, reviews, bids, favorites and tips, and any reports or blocks you make.
- Payment details. Card details are entered on Stripe's own page and held by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers. For Zelle payments we keep the amount, the date and the job it was for. We keep the amounts and dates of what each investor paid and each BOG was paid.
- Device and technical data: a notification token for each phone you use, the internet (IP) address and time when you accept our terms, and ordinary server logs used to keep the app working and secure.
- Cloud storage connections (investors). If you connect Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or Google Photos, we keep the access key that service gives us so we can deliver your files. See "Google data" below.
We do not collect your contacts, your camera roll, or your location outside a job and the one reading when a BOG signs up. Investors' locations are never collected. We do not use advertising or tracking tools, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
How we use it
- To run the jobs. Photos, videos, answers, notes and documents go to the investor who requested the job. They are saved in the investor's own cloud storage (Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive or Google Photos) or, if the investor chose iCloud, saved by the investor's iPhone app into their Photos library. For jobs the B.O.G. Squad team orders itself, they are also saved in our own records system. No other investor's jobs are sent to any outside system.
- RenewEQ's saved copies. Before our copy of a finished job's photos and videos is deleted, RenewEQ may save a copy of that job (photos, videos, the report or job overview, scanned pages and the job's documents) in RenewEQ's own cloud storage. We keep it as a business record and to handle problems, disputes and questions about the job later. Only RenewEQ can see these copies; they are never shared with other investors or BOGs.
- The investor app asks for access to Photos only to save finished jobs into an album there. It does not read your other photos.
- To check the proof of the work. We compare a fingerprint of each photo with photos on other jobs to catch the same picture used twice, and compare where a check in, photo or video was taken with the property's address. Anything that looks wrong is flagged for a person at RenewEQ to review. A computer never decides on its own to close your account or hold your pay.
- To keep jobs in the app. Messages are checked automatically before they are delivered, and phone numbers, email addresses, links and payment or social media handles are removed. During the free beta, the invoice a BOG sends from the app with their own payment link still goes through.
- To keep people safe and handle problems. RenewEQ may read the messages, photos and records on a job to handle a problem report, a report about a person, a rating review or a dispute, or to enforce our terms.
- To reach you. Updates about your jobs appear in the app and as notifications on your phone. We may email you about your account or an invitation someone sent you. The only text message the app sends is the sign in code you ask for.
AI tools we use
When you agree to this policy in the app, you give us permission to send job content to these two AI providers, only for these purposes:
- Deepgram turns what is said in job videos and spoken answers into text.
- Anthropic (the maker of Claude) writes the job summary and report from the answers, notes and that text, and looks at proof photos to see whether they show the work the job asked for.
Neither may use your information to train its AI models or for any purpose of its own. Summaries can be wrong, so check the photos and videos before relying on one.
Who else sees your information
- The other side of a job. A BOG sees the investor's name, company, the property address, access details and job details for a job offered to them or taken by them. The investor sees the BOG's work on their job.
- Approved BOG profiles. If RenewEQ approves you as a BOG, every investor using B.O.G. Squad can see your profile photo, name, company, the area you cover, your usual fee, how many jobs you have done, your star ratings and reviews, and your Operator Atlas ratings link. Your phone number, email and driver's license are not on your profile. The investor on a job you take also sees your profile photo.
- Phone numbers and emails stay private. The investor and the BOG on a job do not see each other's phone number or email. You talk through the app's messages, video calls and phone calls through a B.O.G. Squad number.
- Our records of approved BOGs. When a BOG is approved, their name, mobile number, email, company and area are kept in our business records, so we can reach them about work.
- BOGs never see other BOGs, and a BOG only sees the investor on a job offered to them or taken by them.
Service providers
We use these companies to run the app. Each gets only what it needs to do its job for us:
- Railway hosts the app and its data.
- Twilio sends sign in codes, connects phone calls through a B.O.G. Squad number, and relays video calls when a phone network blocks a direct connection. Calls are encrypted and not recorded.
- Deepgram and Anthropic, as described above.
- Apple and Google (Firebase) deliver notifications to your phone.
- Resend sends our emails.
- The U.S. Census Bureau's address lookup turns a property address into a map location, and turns the location a new BOG's phone gives when they sign up into a city name, to suggest the area they cover. We send it only the property address or that one location, never your name.
- Dropbox, Google and Microsoft receive finished jobs when the investor connects them, and hold RenewEQ's own saved copies of finished jobs in RenewEQ's account.
- Stripe processes card payments. Stripe's privacy policy applies to what you give Stripe.
We require these providers to protect your information at least as well as this policy does and to use it only to provide their service to us. We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or let anyone else use it for their own marketing.
Google data
If you connect Google Drive or Google Photos, the app only creates folders and albums and adds your job files to them. It cannot see your other files or photos. B.O.G. Squad's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can remove our access at any time in your Google account settings, or ask us by email.
Your choices
- You can turn off location, camera, microphone, Photos and notifications at any time in your phone's Settings. Investors never need location. BOGs must allow location while using the app: a BOG who turns it off cannot check in until they turn it back on. A proof photo taken where the phone cannot find its location is still kept, and a person at RenewEQ reviews the job.
- You can block anyone you have worked with or seen in the app, and report a person, a job or a review, from the app.
- You can ask for a copy of your information, or for it to be corrected or deleted, by emailing info@reneweqllc.com. We answer within 30 days.
- You can withdraw your agreement to this policy at any time by deleting your account.
Children
The app is for adults 18 and over, for real estate work. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has given us information, email us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
- Our copy of photos and videos is deleted 7 days after it reaches the investor's cloud storage. If an investor has not connected cloud storage, the files stay in the app so the investor can see them, for as long as the investor's account exists.
- Documents added to a job stay with the job, like its answers and reports. The person who added a document can remove it while the job is open.
- A copy of a finished job that RenewEQ saves in its own cloud storage is kept as long as we need it as a business record or for a problem or dispute about that job. You can ask us to delete it by emailing info@reneweqllc.com, and we will unless the law or an open dispute requires us to keep it.
- Checklist answers, reports, summaries, messages, ratings, the locations taken at check in, check out and on proof photos, and records of calls stay with the job, because the job belongs to the investor who requested it.
- Driver's license photos are deleted as soon as they are checked. Profile photos are deleted when you replace them or delete your account.
- Terms acceptances, reports about people, and blocks are kept while the account exists and for up to 3 years after, as a record.
- Once payments move into the app, payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Deleting your account
Open Account in the app and tap Delete my account. You can also ask by email; see Delete your account. Your name, email address, phone number, company, profile photo, any license photo not yet checked, and backup way to get paid are erased from your account, you are removed from every team and BOG list, and your notifications stop. Jobs already delivered stay with the investor who requested them, and messages you sent on them stay there under "Deleted user". The records listed above are kept for the times shown. If you were an approved BOG and also want your details removed from our business records, say so in an email and we will remove them.
Text messages
When you type your mobile number in the app and tap the button to get a code, you agree to get a text with a one time sign in code from BOG Squad (RenewEQ, LLC). We send one text each time you ask for a code, and no other texts: no marketing and no alerts. Message frequency varies with how often you sign in.
Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop getting texts, and HELP for help. After STOP you cannot get sign in codes until you reply START. You can also email info@reneweqllc.com. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text opt in with anyone for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt in data and consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates.
Changes
When we change this policy in a way that matters, we will ask you to read and accept the new version in the app before you keep using it.
